Comet Windmills are under new management

 

Dear Comet Windmill  Customer,

We are writing to let you know that as of February 5th 2016 Comet Windmills has changed ownership.  The new owners of Comet come with a wealth of experience from varying engineering and customer service backgrounds and are looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead in rebuilding the Comet brand as “Australia’s  Leading Mill”.

Comet is fully aware of its failings over recent years relating to poor customer service, inability to readily supply spare parts and unacceptable delivery times from time of orders.  Rest assured, Comet is 100% committed to rectifying  these issues along with others and rebuilding our relationships  with our many varied customers nationally  and internationally.

The new owners are very proud of the enviable position the Comet brand commands from its 135-year history. And we intend to drive and reinvigorate  Comet to the expectations  of our customers.

We will be undertaking some internal  reviews and implementing new strategies along with a new website incorporating an e-commerce  section which will enable our customers to easily view and order parts via the web. Don’t worry, the traditional over the phone service will still be there with our new Managing Director, Mr David Catchpole, readily available to help out with all of your enquiries.

We ask that all of our customers spread the word via the bush telegraph relating to the changes at Comet and in time we will be planning to visit as many of our customers as possible and catch-up face to face.

We look forward to working  with you in the future  and thank you for your patience over the past years and during this rebuilding phase.
